  1. Why did the price increase? I specifically saved this page for the $30 tickets. When I clicked on it this morning they have gone up to $35!

    • You are correct Stacy! Our partnership with Worlds of Fun allowed us 1,500 tickets at $30/each … the best price on tickets and a great fundraiser to support our mission. We are thrilled to have been allowed to offer additional passes at still the best prices available … they are $5 more but with no tax you won’t find a better bargain! Thanks for your interest!

    • Angie –

These are legitimate tickets to Worlds of Fun sold as part of a fundraising campaign we negotiated with the theme park. To date we have sold more than 3,800 tickets and counting. It’s been an amazing fundraising opportunity for us and these dollars will help save lives right in Kansas City. Feel free to call the Susan G. Komen office (816.842.0410), the Worlds of Fun ticket office or our Website (www.komenkansascity.org) to verify our nonprofit organization and our right to sell these tickets. Let us kn ow if you need any more information. Thanks,

    • ShyAnne –

Tickets are valid ANY day the park is open (both parks) except Saturdays in October … so yes, July 11 is good!

    • Elizabeth – We have no way of knowing how long they will last. We’ve been selling 200-400 daily and were able to negotiate more tickets but we can’t guarantee that will continue.

  2. If we participate in the run, are both parks going to be open. I thought Oceans of Fun closed, for the year, the weekend before the run. “Race participants can ““Stay and play all day (after Race) at both parks for an additional $10/person”

    • Vernell – You are correct: Only Worlds of Fun will be open that day. It was a misprint and has been corrected. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. Hope to see you out there on 09.13.2015.

  3. I wanted to order these today for next week. If you’re on delay and not mailing till 28th, will they be mailed out tomorrow? If I was to pay for the priority mailing do you have a guess on when they would mail out? Thank you

    • Kelly – we should have them tomorrow and be able to mail them tomorrow as well. If we do regular mail and you live in the greater KC metro you should have them by the end of the week … Priority mail would get there sooner.

  4. Ok, I want to buy 6 tickets today. Will I receive them before Saturday, the 22nd? I live in Topeka, KS. Or do I need to do the priority mail?

    • If you purchase by tomorrow (Mon) at 10A there’s no reason they wouldn’t be delivered by Friday. if you are concerned I would select Priority Mailing which will ensure their delivery.

      • I would imagine that purchasing them today would get them to Topeka by Friday without priority … I can’t guarantee it but based on past experience it should be fine.

  5. this isn’t going on this year by chance is it? it is posted on facebook but it seems like it was a repost. 😦
