Webinar: An Update on Metastasis Research in Breast Cancer

Earlier this week Susan G. Komen Greater Kansas City presented a Webinar titled: An Update on Metastasis Research in Breast Cancer … the Webinar was facilitated by Dr. Danny Welch and Dr. Nikki Cheng from The University of Kansas Cancer Center.

Lori Maris, Cheryl Jernigan, Dr. Danny Welch, Dr. Nikki Cheng, & Carli Good paused for a moment after the Webinar on June 18, 2014.

Dr. Welch serves as the founding director of the Department of Cancer Biology and director for National Foundation for Cancer Research Center for Metastasis Research for The University of Kansas Medical Center, chair and professor of Cancer Biology at The University of Kansas School of Medicine and is a Kansas Bioscience Authority Eminent Scholar.

Dr. Welch is a Susan G. Komen International Scientific Advisory Board Member and his laboratory at The University of Kansas Cancer Center currently receives funding from the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

In addition to Dr. Welch we welcomed Dr. Nikki Cheng. Dr. Cheng is also a Komen funded researcher and introduced her research during the webinar as well.
